Interesting Bible Verse: Psalm 139: 13-16

"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;  Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them..."

Circle of Life at General Meeting

What a nice and informative meeting we had last night!  THANK YOU Dale! You did a wonderful job putting the evening together, with guest speakers who took us on a journey around the Circle of Life.

We want to extend a very special THANK YOU to all the wonderful speakers of the evening:

and another big THANK YOU to those who donated so generously to the event:

Donna Laurie and the Hearts and Hands Commission - these ladies had knitting fever and made all kinds of absolutely adorable baby items - caps, blankies, etc.  Wow! What talent and skill!!

Lisa Cucchi and the Students from St. Coleman School - it was diapermania!! Mrs. Cucchi conducted a diaper drive and brought several boxes of diapers that were donated by the students of St. Colemans. We know they will definitely get put to good use!!!

Andrea Rodriguez - Andrea is a new member of the Council and has been a blessing! She is a baker by trade and made the most adorable pink and blue cookies for us to eat.  They were so beautiful! We almost didn't want to eat them.  But we did, and boy were they great!!! If you are in need of tasty baked goods, like cakes and cookies, call:  Andrea Rodriguez (954) 348-7077

Of course, we also want to thank Respect Life for all they do to protect and preserve life as God intended, and all those who attended the meeting, made donations, and supported this Pro-Life event.  Remember, if you want to write a letter to the ladies being served by the Respect Life office of Wilton Manors, please write away and bring the letter to Dale at the next meeting. Also, if you have a bottle for change, please return it at the next meeting, too. If you are interested to volunteer at Respect Life, you can call them directly, or send an email to scwcinfo@yahoo.com and we will put you in touch with their office.

Finally, there are some great photos in our photos tab, so please be sure to check them out before you log out of the site!!! See you soon!!!

Welcome to the St Coleman Women's Council Website!

As Women of Faith and Women of Action, the Saint Coleman Women’s Council (“SCWC”) offers women opportunities to strengthen their faith and create new friendships through service to Saint Coleman Parish and the community. On this 4th anniversary year of our founding, we have grown considerably, and are truly blessed to have many active and dynamic women in our group! THANK YOU to everyone for your continued dedication and support!

Our monthly general meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month from September through May at 7:30 PM in the Saint Coleman Parish Hall. (There will be no meeting in December due to the Holidays.) We welcome all women who want to support us in serving our parish and community to join us as we embark upon a new and wonderful year together!

Thank you for visiting us on the WWW, and we look forward to seeing you at our meetings!
